About us : Bloom East is a growing Floral business based in the new Design District in Greenwich, London. We currently work both on event floristry and retail floristry. We are looking to grow the retail arm of the business whilst still maintaining a strong presence in luxury event florals.

The role :We are looking for a senior florist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to be part of the growth of the Bloom East brand whilst developing your own skills and experience in the floral industry. Working closely with our creative director, you will be involved in multiple areas of this small business from retail, wedding/event flower creation, ordering and social media. Our hope is for the right candidate to become an integral part of Bloom East and there is potential for this role to grow alongside the business. As such, we are looking for someone who is proactive and motivated.

This varied role is a full time, 5 day per week position. Whilst we always strive to offer flexibility in our working patterns, this role will include at least 50% of Saturdays so we are looking for a team member who is happy to have a day off midweek instead of a classic weekend. We very rarely work Sundays and are always closed between Christmas and New Year.

You : As we are a very small business, we are looking for someone who will fit well into our existing team of freelancers so that your skills and talent can grow within the business. We believe that a happy team is at the heart of our business. We'd love to meet friendly, creative florists with a positive attitude and the ability to problem solve.

Bloom East is an equal opportunities employer and we encourage and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and unrepresented groups
